Damatria Beach

Algemeen

Damatria Beach ligt aan de zuidkant van Karpathos, nabij het dorp Kipi Afiarti (Afiartis), ongeveer 15 kilometer ten zuiden van Pigadia. Het is een smal strand met een mix van zand en kiezels, omgeven door kalkstenen kliffen die bescherming bieden tegen de westenwind, bereikbaar via een smalle, geasfalteerde weg met beperkte parkeergelegenheid. Het strand heeft voorzieningen zoals ligbedden en parasols te huur, maar geen toiletten of douches. Er is een bekend restaurant, Poseidon Blue Hotel & Restaurant, vlakbij het strand. Het is een rustige plek, populair bij snorkelaars en gezinnen die van ongerepte natuur houden.
